During this last week before half term, we will be at Vale, St Martins, Beechwood, La Mare, Acorn House and Blanchelande primary schools for assemblies. We will also be at St Mary and St Michael and Amherst for their OT Mini assembly, where the students from the last five weeks will perform the 40 hand signs to the rest of the school.
We will be starting a new course of OT Mini at Melrose this week too, please keep the school and the team in your prayers that this goes well and the children enjoy it.
Our BOLT clubs are in Week 6 and looking at “God in 3 parts” where we discuss the Trinity.
This week in senior lunch clubs we will conclude our series on creation, thinking about why the world was created and the purpose God had for humanity on earth. We will be challenging the young people to think about how we can all play our part to help look after the world. We are back at Blanchelande this week doing the final lesson on the Christian view on the causes of evil, how we should respond when bad things happen, and the role of Jesus’ death in dealing with it.
And finally after four weeks of preparation the Le Murier students will lead their assembly for the lower school. Please remember them in your prayers too.
