Our week is looking very busy with primary assemblies at Capelles, Notre Dame, Castel, St Mary and St Michaels, La Mare, Forest, Beechwood, Amherst, Vauvert and La Houguette!!
Phil will continue to deliver OT Mini at Blanchelande as well as starting a new course at St Mary and St Michaels. Please pray that these lessons go well and the students respond positively.
Excitingly the whole of Year 4 attended the first week of BOLT club at St Mary and St Michaels last week which was a lot of fun! Let’s hope they all return this week!
This week in senior lunch clubs we are discussing the impact gossiping can have on people. We are encouraging the students to think about how they use their words, are the positive and affirming of others or negative and mean. The Bible teaches that ‘out of our mouths let what is helpful for building others up come out, that it may benefit those who listen to it’ (Ephesians 4:29). Our words are powerful, let’s use them to encourage and build others up!
Phil continues to visit churches regularly, updating them on what PACE are doing, particularly in their local schools. Here is what he said about a recent visit: “It was really good to be speaking at my old church of St Mary’s, L’Islet last Sunday. It was a ‘parade service’ so there were lots of children and young people with Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Boys’ Brigade members representing many different schools. It is really great to be able to connect schools with church again.”
If you would like PACE to visit your church please get in touch!
